OTTAWA, ON - Three Canadian synchronized skating teams will travel to Rouen, France, to compete at the 2014 French Cup. China Jerseys . The international synchronized skating competition takes place from January 31 - February 1, 2014, and features 39 teams from 10 countries, in senior, junior, and novice. Canada will have entries in the senior and junior categories. Les Suprêmes, the 2013 Canadian silver medallists, will be the Canadian entry in the senior category. Les Suprêmes placed fifth at this event last season, fourth in 2012, and won silver in 2011. Representing Québec, they placed sixth at the 2013 ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships. Les Suprêmes are coached by Marilyn Langlois, assisted by Pascal Denis and Amélie Brochu. Les Suprêmes junior, also from Québec, are the first of two teams representing Canada in the junior category. Les Suprêmes junior placed eighth at this event last season, seventh in 2012, and fourth in 2011. The 2013 Canadian junior silver medallists are coached by Marilyn Langlois and Amélie Brochu. Canadas second entry in the junior division is Leaside Synergy junior, representing Central Ontario. This will be their first international assignment.
